Officers are required to provide their own equipment when working movie jobs. This page is intended to provide officers with information about sources for motorcycle boots. Please share your sources by emailing hal@pacificnet.net so they may be included here.
BOOTS:
Through a special arrangement with the owner, retired LAPD officers working movie jobs may purchase custom-fitted motorcycle boots directly from a local manufacturer. This deal is unique to LAPD retired officers and subject to non-disclosure. For further information, please call Hal at 818 974-4401.
Many of the uniform stores also offer motorcycle boots. Some stock standard sizes, while others will measure you for custom fitted boots. Contact your local uniform store to inquire regarding availability.
